~ A tribute to my Yolanda~
My maternal grandmother, Yolanda, was a baker, a seamstress, gardener, stitcher, and crocheter among so many other talents. I have fiddled over the years with crochet, made baby sweaters, blankets, booties and bonnets.
After blog surfing, I have decided to finally crochet a granny square afghan. The Autumn chill in the air has stimulated me to take on this venture. No idea how big I want it, but I am thrilled at the prospect of it and the colors I have chosen! So far I have crocheted 4.
