I've received several emails asking about the quails...the pattern is a McCall's Crafts pattern:Gooseberry Hill Designs-'Fine Feathered Friends' #6349. The pattern contains several versions of the quails: Old Quail, cardinal, Mother Quail, and baby quail. At this point my quails are beakless, because I have to figure out how to give them a decent beak. Yes there are directions, but...I'm not a direction follower...lol. Some details of the quail-tails...I would have never thought to decorate the quails with pins n this manner...so my assistant, younger daughter does that.
Pretty, eh? She also arranged the pretty pins on one of my pin cushions.
