'Flower Vase Sampler'
My first miniature needlework project. This pattern is from "Dolls' House Needlecrafts" by Venus A. Dodge.
Cross stitched on Jobelan linen using 1 strand DMC cotton thread. I've fallen in love all over again. :-)
Miniature needlwork projects are done 1 over 1, at times cross stitched, at other times other stitches like tent stitch for better coverage.I've done 1 over 1 work before, but real people size...this is done in 1/12 scale which means 1" = 1 foot.
The finished size of this mini masterpiece is 1" across by 1.5 " top to bottom.
What I love most about this is the alphabet, lol. too cute!
