This is the finish for the Erica Michaels 2004 monthly freebie series. Stitched on 14 count fiddlers cloth, using a combination of orphaned threads: DMC cotton & varigated, silks, GAST & Caron watercolours. Of course the trademark heart button added, as I have for the entire series. I love pillow finishes. Not only are they super easy to sew, they give a piece dimension, softness, and a sense of comfort. The fabric is a remnant piece and I chose a seafoam green organdy wired ribbon to bring out the color in the scarecrows face.
